Andrews Launch Accelerator Deadline
Happy Thursday,
There's a lot of NC State red on our newsletter today. It's a big day for us. We close the Applications for the Andrews Launch Accelerator tonight.
We're particularly excited, because in this moment of need, we will put absolutely all our resources behind those founders that take aim at creating truly impactful companies. I'm a big believer that crises bring the best out of us. Can't wait to see that reflected in the applications that come in.
If you're an active investor or domain expert who wants to help guide our teams, just hit reply.
Thought of the day:
“If you want to succeed you should strike out on new paths, rather than travel the worn paths of accepted success".
― John D. Rockefeller

P.S. Late applications are welcome, take a shot even if you're running late. That's what entrepreneurship is anyway.
The Lineup:Top FiveEvents The Scoop
TOP FIVE
🌵Insights / Ok I promise this isn't the only podcast I listen to when I go on runs. But based on today's oil spike, this is a great listen. "Deep Basin – Oil Price War and Its Implications - [Invest Like the Best, EP.160]".
🦄 Entrepreneurial Outlook / Our teams take on what the current economic situation means for entrepreneurs in "Challenge or Opportunity? Riding the Wave of Entrepreneurship in Times of Crises".
🚀Vision / Gathered insights from our NC State top entrepreneurial thinkers on specific actions entrepreneurs should consider when making moves in this environment. Read the article here.
🔢Virtual Engagement / Taking community engagements online is no easy task. We had a productive session last week for our Mentors Program. But we also learned a lot and made some basic mistakes. We made sessions too short, for example. We're here to learn. Luckily, First Round shared a post on online community engagement that serves as a basic tactical guide. I think there's still more to explore but "Don't Just Throw Together a Webinar — The Virtual Events Crash Course You Need" is a good start!
👍Social Distancing / List of Films for your quarantine by the Atlantic.
