“Solidarity is what will kill this virus”
Happy Friday,
I hope you're reading this from home. If you're like me, you are starting to feel Zoom overload. I trust it'll get better...but let's look at the bright side, I've been making so many pour overs that I think Jubala would hire me as a barista after this madness ends.
For me, it's been a time to reflect on what behaviors we will develop and will stick after this is over. It's a great time to be an entrepreneur and be creative. I deeply believe entrepreneurs will shed the light of optimism during these hard times.
That is why we've decided to extend the deadline to apply to the Andrews Launch Accelerator. The new deadline is April 2nd. We know that bright and hard-working founders will rise to the occasion. We're here to provide the guidance and resources to enable their success.
Thought of the day:
“Solidarity is what will kill this virus”.

TOP FIVE
🚀Vision / In the midst of this crisis, it's important to leverage the tools at our disposal and maximize their benefit to do new things with them. Seth Godin emphasizes this point in his Tuesday post "The Conversation". I won't even try to interpret his post. Please, just go and read it. It will make your day.
🌵Trailblazing / Now that we are talking about Seth, he went to Superorganizers and shared how he "doesn't" get organized. He comments why that's a better approach for creativity and turns the concept on its head. Find it in "Seth Godin Hates Being Organized".
🦄 Capital / If you're here, you may be applying to our accelerator or looking for other sources of funding. It's critical that when you pitch, you differentiate yourself as much as you can. Want to have a better "Competition" slide than most startups out there? Look at this petal diagram, a new way of positioning yourself among competitors.
📉Downturn / What happens to startups during a recession? That's exactly what Richard Liu addresses in his latest post. Do yourself a favor and look at his non-intuitive takeaways.
💭Tweet /The best tweet from the past couple of days. If you have better ones, shoot my way. Oh and in there, you'll find Nikhil Krishnan take on insurance in an adjacent conversation to the pandemic.
